Research, Development & Innovation and Entrepreneurship
NFS staff have significant experience in working with young entrepreneurial companies, both at the start-up and early-stage phases, as well as in working with EU Research & Development projects to help them define the market potential and pursue a commercialisation strategy. We have also significant experience in working in various aspects of innovation, and are familiar with EU innovation policy.

A track record in contributing to pioneering initiatives in the arena of European innovation and entrepreneurship...
NFS staff have been involved in the launch and/or development of significant innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives in Europe - including the launch of the first pan-European Listing of Entrepreneurial Growth Companies (GrowthPlus Europe's 500 Listing) and the management of three of the subsequent Listing Projects. NFS staff have also played a key role in the development of the European Tech Investment Forum (ETIF) during 2001-2003.

FP6 Research & Innovation Programme - Efficiency Review
NFS is currently undertaking an efficiency review of the FP6 Research & Innovation Programme. The purpose of the review is to provide an independent view on the funding outcomes of the Research & Innovation Programme, and to review the programme's operating processes and systems. It is expected that the work will help distill learnings from the Research & Innovation Programme's experience, and contribute to informing the process for the finalisation of the Competitiveness & Innovation (CIP) Programme.

Coaching for High-Tech Entrepreneurial Companies
NFS staff have provided coaching to dozens of entrepreneurial high-tech companies on raising venture capital investment. Strategy, business model development and business planning services were also provided to a start-up company in the internet media terminals sector.
